An edition that circulates in order to be played only moves forward through the games people make of it. If you have played one — a Scenethe unit of play: you open it, you play it, you close it.part 3, an evening, three sessions —, tell me how it went.

Three questions, and you may answer only one. These are not boxes: they are the only things I cannot guess by rereading my own book.

The precise moment, above all. "Part 6 is confusing" leaves me searching; "I did not know what to Wagerwhat fate can take, named in two clauses just before you resolve: what it takes, what happens if it does not take it. What you wager must belong on the standing page or the portrait.part 6, and ended up taking the first thing that came" tells me what to rewrite. If you arrive from a section of the book by the link that follows it, that section is already noted for you.

People readily report what jams, and that is precious — but tell me too what worked. A rule that set something off is just as hard to spot from my chair, and I risk cutting it while thinking I am trimming.

And if you are willing to show me a page of your notebook, even one, that is what teaches me the most. Nothing will be published without asking you first.

This page sends nothing: it opens a message on your side, which you read over and send yourself. No server sees what you type, and nothing is kept — except by your mail program, like any other message.
